Our commitment
Ace AssociationOS is committed to making the platform accessible to all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We are designing the platform to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
Our Commitment
We believe that every member of an association — regardless of ability — deserves full access to the tools and opportunities the platform provides. Accessibility is not an afterthought; it is a design requirement built into the platform from the ground up.
Our target conformance standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This covers perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness across the platform's member-facing and administrator-facing interfaces.
Known Limitations
The platform is in active development. Some features may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to address gaps as the platform is built.
During the pilot phase, the following areas are under active accessibility review:
- Complex data tables in the Opportunity Intelligence module — keyboard navigation and screen reader announcements are being refined.
- Dynamic filter panels — ARIA live region announcements for filter result counts are planned for a near-term release.
- Rich text editor fields in member profile forms — full keyboard operability is in progress.
- PDF and document exports — tagged PDF output is on the roadmap.
We document known issues internally and prioritize them in each development sprint. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please report it using the contact information below.
Assistive Technology Support
We test the platform against the following assistive technology combinations and aim to support them at general availability:
Keyboard-only navigation is supported across all primary workflows. Focus indicators meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast requirements. Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information.
